- Abstract
The article discusses legal issues on emergency treatment of injured, owned and wild animals in Great Britain. It tackles the issue of animal welfare on the case of badger cull and other wild animals which struggle for survival and veterinary care. Moreover, it highlights the controversial removal of the name of veterinarian Munhuwepasi Chikosi from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) after his failure to attend to wounded animal for one hour.
