- Abstract
The article discusses the conducted study to determine the prevalence of the cases of torque teno virus (TTV) infection in pig herds in China. It defines TTV as a small non-enveloped virus with a single-stranded, negative-sense circular deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) genome. The International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses included TTV into the floating genus Anellovirus of Circoviridae.
