- Abstract
The article examines bans on Critical Race Theory, ostrich laws prohibiting education focusing on critical thinking about race and the role of the Fourteenth Amendment in protecting Critical Race Theory. It explores arguments for and against Critical Race Theory as well as ostrich laws banning it and related concepts around the U.S. It discusses the Fourteenth Amendment grounds for the right to free and equal thought. It describes the First Amendment's shortcomings related to race education.
