- Abstract
The article focuses on a study investigating the effectiveness of a temporal bone simulator from Karl Storz Endoscopy-America Inc., as an assessment and training tool in otolaryngological education. It reports that the study involved dissection of temporal bone and mastoidectomy by resident physicians with the help of simulator. The simulator was found to be accurate and valuable in training programs, and it also improved the dissection timings of medical residents.
