- Authors
Hermansen, Christian; Jackson, Joan
- Abstract
The article discusses the applicability of Current Procedural Terminology evaluation and management code 99215 documentation for general multisystem examination of organ systems and body areas of clinical patients. It is indicated that complex medical decision-making scenarios require the corresponding diagnostic points in medical charts for risk association. Cases involving diabetes, right lower quadrant abdominal pain and hypothyroidism are presented as tests for coding proficiency.
