- Authors
Rodriguez, Marc Simon
- Abstract
The article focuses on the issues surrounding the citizenship of Mexican-Americans in the U.S. Accordingly, the paper traces back, and unravels the often-pragmatic history of racial and ethnic politics of Mexican-Americans. The paper also provides opinions as a way to engage the past history of racial reform among Mexican-Americans and as part of an ongoing effort to understand the context, history, and activism of those who worked to expand the meaning of citizenship for minorities in the U.S.
