- Abstract
The article discusses the dangers of electrical shocks as well as the importance of safety when dealing with electricity. Safety guidelines in the study of electricity are also presented to avoid electrical injuries including the use of a master cut-off switch that could control all laboratory circuits and must also be accessible from any point in the room. Another thing to bear in mind is to avoid the potential for fire and explosion by storing flammable liquids in a safe distance from electrical equipment. Students must not be allowed to touch electrical circuit while touching any grounded utility.
