- Title
Interface of Geography with Politicians, Bureaucrats, Business and Non-government organisations.
- Abstract
The article discusses four points associated to the promotion of geography among decision-makers in Australia in 2001. These include producing a work to show what geographers have done and are doing, making better use of geography graduates engaged in politics or business, taking a corporate position as a discipline with regard to inquiries, and developing a participatory role for senior geographers outside of teaching and research. The author claims that these four points demand commitments beyond individual priorities.
