- Abstract
The author reflects on the association of the mutation of Ras homolog gene family member A (RHOA) with diffuse-type gastric cancer progression and the mutations were detected both in intramucosal regions and in invasive regions. It mentions that clinical impact of RHOA mutation on patient survival with the gain-of-function or a loss-of-function mutation. It also mentions that RHOA mutations often conformed to the classic two-hit suppressor gene model with the loss of heterozygosity.
