- Abstract
Christopher Nolan's film, Interstellar (2014); differs from many sci-fi films in the form of representing scientific knowledge. The main message of the movie; problems with human and nature should be solved with scientific knowledge and the search for a better world is one of the basic projections of the survival instinct. This message and the opinion the movie tries to convey, resembles the views of the 20th century thinker Karl Popper under the title of science and politics philosophy and even a detailed reading reveals the idea that the film was built on the basis of these views. In this article, Popper's views on the philosophy of science and politics will be used to analyze the subtext of the film and will be used to analyze Nolan's cinema in connection with the movie.
