- Title
Age Replacement Policy for Repairable System with Repairman's Multiple Vacations.
- Abstract
An age replacement policy is proposed for the repairable system with repairman's multiple vacations. Assuming that the system is "repaired but not new" and the repairman takes multiple vacations, and that the system reaches the effective age based on the probability in the states of working, pending and fault repair, and taking the effective age of the system as the repair and replacement policy, with the objectives of minimizing the mean downtime and maximizing the expected benefit of the system in per unit time of long-term operation, the geometric process and renewal process theory are used to establish a mathematical model and find the analytical expression to obtain the optimal repair and replacement policy. The age replacement policy has certain guiding significance and reference value for engineering practice.
