- Abstract
The objective of this study was to investigate the applicability of collective teaching methods in the marching bands of Goiânia, seeking to analyse the relevance of the material used for teaching music, as well as to identify different pedagogical practices in the field of collective teaching of instruments. musicals. The methodological procedure includes the following actions: at the beginning the literature review took place, seeking to update the research on the subject. In a second moment, the survey (survey) and analysis of pedagogical positions took place, such as collective teaching methods for bands and didactic planning involving the use of exercises proposed by the music teachers. In conclusion, it was noted that within the marching bands there is an ingrained practice that is breaking down: teaching based solely on tradition.
