- Abstract
This research was conducted in order to determine the perceptions of school administrators about school safety. In line with the aim, the survey form consisting of the personal information form and the school safety perception scale was applied to 114 administrators working in public schools in the Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul province in the 2022-2023 academic year. The data obtained from the surveys were evaluated using the SPSS 22.0 statistical program in a computer environment. As a result of the research, it was determined that school administrators have a high level of perception of school safety. It has been determined that the highest dimension of school administrators' perceptions about school safety is social security, and the lowest perceptions are related to the mental health psychological safety dimension. In addition, it has been found in the research that school administrators' perceptions of school safety do not differ statistically according to their age, gender, professional seniority and managerial seniority in all dimensions.
