- Abstract
The article presents different laws and legislation in the U.S. They include national concerns of harm to marine mammals, maritime tort liability limited, the Michigan ballast water permit requirements, improper delisting of a regulated emissions source, storm water discharge from oil and gas construction sites, and the coal producer pollution lawsuit. Some of the legislation discussed include the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act, the Clean Boating Act, Emergency Economic Stabilization Act and Mercury Export Ban Act.
