- Abstract
The article presents legal developments in marketing related to the regulation of monopolistic methods. Regarding market control, the case "United States v. Continental Oil Company" is discussed, involving alleged violations of the Clayton Act. Regarding collusive practices, the United States Supreme Court cases "Morton Salt Co. v. United States," and "Diamond Crystal Salt Co. v. United States," are discussed, in which the Supreme Court found that the rock salt producers conspired to fix bids on sales to government agencies. Regarding market exclusion tactics, the United States Supreme Court case "United States v. Huck Manufacturing Co., et al.," is discussed, involving product licensing and patent law.
