- Abstract
The article presents a study on the flow around a circular cylinder on the two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations using large Reynolds numbers having a high boundary layer resolution. Accordingly, Reynolds number is three-dimensional (3D) prior to the flow around two-dimensional (2ND) bodies at high values. Moreover, it was concluded that an analytical expression associated with flow function to the vorticity distribution in an incompressible fluid flowing in a circular cylinder is found.
