- Abstract
This article presents a study that deals with hot-tube thermal anemometer probes. Sensors with high spatial and temporal resolution are needed to get key problems of aerogasdynamics solved. A hot-wire anemometer probe is the only sensor capable of measuring fluctuations at high flow velocities. However, it has its own set of shortcomings. A new type of thermal anemometer probe is based on the idea of using a conductive microtube made of semiconductor structures instead of a metal wire.
