- Abstract
The article discusses a radio speech by French leader Charles de Gaulle delivered in London, England on the 1940 anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. Emphasis is given to topics such as French resistance to the German forces led by dictator Adolf Hitler, the support of prime minister Winston Churchill, and the need for French political leadership in opposition to Hitler.
