- Abstract
The article discusses the ambiguity and multiple interpretations of biblical texts, particularly the book of Psalms. It highlights the influence of liturgical use on the interpretation of biblical texts and gives examples of how certain passages are understood differently based on their use in liturgy. It further focuses on Psalm 29, a song of David, and its different interpretations by medieval commentators and perhaps even the Talmud and Midrash.
