- Abstract
The article examine the government of State of New York's regulation of hunting and weapons discharge in the state, as of June 2015. Topics discussed include the New York's Environmental Conservation Law that imposes limitations on the discharge of longbows; role of the state Department of Environmental Conservation in enforcing the rules and regulations to carry out the purposes of the environmental conservation; and benefits of controlling deer populations. It also mentions the recommendations made by the Joint Legislative Committee on Revision of the Conservation Law.
