The author reflects on the significant contributions and the friendship of the three Historical Construction Equipment Association (HCEA) members including Denny Russell, John Campbell, and Bob Schaffer. Russell was a committed volunteer and an asset to the organization. Campbell was a volunteer at the museum who left memories of experiences and additional knowledge to his co-members. Schaffer was a preceding national director of HCEA who was known to be one of the kindest gentleman.
