The article presents information on the arbitration statute that is one of the most important laws that has been enacted in Georgia. It informs that the Act repeals the previous international transactions portion of the arbitration code and establishes an entirely new framework. It further informs that the Arbitration law in the U.S. has developed significantly since the passage of the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA).
