- Abstract
The article discusses the functioning of the Albanian supercompound forms (SCF) in the contemporary standard Albanian language, which has two synthetic past forms that are created with the use of the auxiliary verb "kan" (have) and "jam" (be). Topics discussed include studies on SCF including those by Victor A. Friedman, and Buccholz and Fiedler and the distribution of the SCF in the Albanian Corpus as of April 2014 including the digression of the Albanian non-active voice.
