- Abstract
The article discusses the relationship between biosimilars and its use in renal health care in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The economic development of CEE countries resulted to the increase in dialysis facilities. However, different standard of treatment using erythropoietin-stimulating agents still persists despite the increasing availability of dialysis treatment. Economic constraints contributed to the difference standard in the treatment of anemia in patients with chronic renal failure from CEE countries.
