- Abstract
The article presents case study of a 7-year-old Hispanic boy who was diagnosed with hypopigmented mycosis fungoides (MF). Topics discussed include observation of superficial and bandlike lymphoid infiltrate; information on T-cell receptor gene rearrangement analysis with polymerase chain reaction (PCR) demonstrated a polyclonal T-cell population; and patients with darker skin phototypes are likely to be effected by MF.
