- Abstract
The article investigates the factors that compelled teachers in British Columbia into rejecting shock therapy and to stage a full-scale strike during school year of 2013-2014. Topics discussed include the obstacles to resolving the bargaining impasse between teachers and the provincial government, the key characteristics of the collective agreement that connected the impasse between teachers and the provincial government, and the tactics utilized to challenge shock therapy.
