- Abstract
The articled focuses on the organized British ethnicity and their associationalism in Singapore from l880s to 1930s. Topics discussed include Welsh ethnicity traditionally been casted in North American context, as 'invisible migrants' lacking strong ethnic expression, role of ethnic associations in providing information about the sojourner world and Scots with the English and Welsh entered the associationalism in commemorating their homeland through well-established methods.
