- Abstract
The article provides insights on managing the discrimination risk posed by machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) models used in the workplace. It describes model risk as the potential for adverse consequences from incorrect model outputs and reports such as data errors, and discrimination. It explains the difference between machine learning and AI modeling methods and traditional predictive modeling. Also suggested are the factors to consider in evaluating a model for fairness.
