The article discusses studies of routine cancer screening for older adults, published in the "JAMA Internal Medicine" journal. Topics discussed include T. Royce and his team's study of routine screening of prostate, breast, cervical and colorectal cancer in the U.S. from 2000 to 2010 and F. Van Hees and team's study which showed the association of intensive screening with only small increases in preventing colorectal cancer deaths and quality of life.
