- Abstract
The article provides information on a study which assessed familial cancer risk for common sites in Japan. The authors of the research conducted a large-scale, case-control study with a further emphasis on interactions with smoking and other confounding environmental factors. The study reviewed a total of 18,836 cancer cases and enrolled 28,125 age-matched and sex-matched controls, confirmed as being free of cancer.
