- Abstract
A competition model in the unstirred chemostat with the C-M functional response in N-dimensional case is studied. The existence and stability of the nonnegative-nontrivial steady-state solution are discussed by the theorem of local bifurcation,and the global structure of the system is analyzed by using the theorem of global bifurcation. These results indicate that the two species of microorganism can coexist when suitable parameters are selected.
