The article presents an overview of moral and ethical dilemmas that people in the medical community face as a result of receiving gifts, trips and meals from representatives of the pharmaceutical industry and medical supplies industry. The author suggests that while most members of the medical community are aware of the medical ethics related to the gifts, all appear to have weaknesses for certain items.
