- Abstract
The author reflects on the current condition and the future prospects of museums. The author mentions that countries including England and Vietnam use measures to promote tourism and millions of dollars have been spend by the Native American tribes for the maintenance of museums and cultural centers. The author further mentions that in spite of the immense success of museum as a center for public recreation, the discipline of museum anthropology is yet to find a place in the modern world.
