The article focuses on various topics affecting the GLBT community. The Abu Ghraib Prison scandal is a result of a culture that permits homosexuality, according to Robert Knight of the Culture & Family Institute. Gay and lesbian Mormons founded the Restoration Church of Jesus Christ that has its own scripture, "Hidden Treasures and Promises," and lets gay couples have sexual relationships. Virginia has a law that bans contracts, such as wills and leases, between same-sex couples. Springfield, Massachusetts requires same-sex couples to marry if they want to be eligible for domestic partner benefits.
