- Abstract
This article, published in the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology, discusses a case of a large left ventricular aneurysm causing a perfusion defect and indentation on myocardial perfusion imaging. The patient, a 66-year-old woman with a history of hypertension and chronic kidney disease, presented with dyspnea and chest pain. Various imaging methods, including echocardiography, CT, and equilibrium radionuclide ventriculography, were used to diagnose and confirm the aneurysm. The article emphasizes the importance of ERNV in confirming the diagnosis of left ventricular aneurysms.
