- Abstract
The study demonstrated a moderate amount of reversibility in the mid to distal anterolateral wall with preservation of apical perfusion suggestive of diagonal territory ischaemia. The management of persistent symptomatic myocardial ischaemia in patients with underlying coronary artery disease (CAD) is varied and perfusion defect assessment via single-positron emission computed tomography (SPECT) can be the gatekeeper of decision making.[1] Case Summary We present the case of a 62-year-old gentleman with significant angina on maximal medical therapy. 10.1136/heartjnl-2018-313230 2 Stergiopoulos K, Boden WE, Hartigan P.
