- Abstract
This article is a description of the literary achievements of the Qing dynasty. In 2010, the "Collected Anthologies of Qing Poems and other Writings" was finally published by Shanghai Guji Publishing House. It was edited by staff members at Renmin University of China and Peking University. The volume contains over 4,000 works bound in 800 volumes. The first part of the article describes the types of Qing poems selected in the anthology. The second part describes the categories of writings selected in the anthology. The third part describes the anthologies' historical value, attesting to the importance of the anthology to the understanding of society, history, intellectual thought, and culture of the Qing dynasty.
