- Abstract
The article discusses the relations between Armenia and India, including their diplomatic, economic, medical, educational, artistic and literary relations, from the 1920s through 2011. An overview of the role that culture plays in the bilateral relations between the Armenian and Indian governments, including the putative appreciation that Indians and Armenians have for each other's culture, is provided. The relations between India and Armenia in regard to international conflicts, including the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan during the late 1980s and early 1990s, is discussed.
