- Abstract
The article presents an examination and discussion of photographs from a photo album containing images from the career of Air Commodore Gerald Gordon Diamond. Biographical information on Diamond is presented including that he enlisted in the Non-Permanent Royal Canadian Air Force in 1937 and by the time of his retirement in 1967 he had flown upwards of 3,500 hours in more than 31 different types of aircraft. The article provides information on the history of the No. 111 Coastal Artillery Co-operation Squadron and includes photographs from Diamond's service and training with the squadron.
