- Abstract
The article offers information on weak disorder media for light transport using photonic quasicrystals (QCs). According to the study by L. Levi and colleagues, QCs arrangement enhances light propagation by hopping between clusters of atoms in real space. It says that two-dimension (2D) disorder in QC structure is introduced by modifying refractive index and is set through intensity of speckled beams. In addition, disorder-enhanced light transport for weak disorder increases state density.
