- Abstract
The article discusses that the Librarian of Congress evaluated Right to Repair proposals for Section 1201 of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) exemptions to anticircumvention for modern automobiles, agricultural equipment, and machinery grouped as the ‘vehicle software' class. It mentions limit exclusivity rights for copyrighted works under ‘fair use' justifications for copying or modifying ‘functional' software. It also mentions litigation in response to the Clean Air Act.
