In this article the author argues on the inclusion of liberalism in an indefensible universalism. He also comments on the communitarian and philosopher Richard McKay Rorty rejection of universalism. He distinguishes Jean Hampton's objectivist liberalism, and Richard McKay Rorty's liberal metaphysician and discuses about the critics of liberalism.
