- Authors

- Abstract
The article focuses on the positive impact of the abolition of the Global Rinderpest Eradication Programme (GREP), established by the United Nations (UN) Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) and other organisations, on May 25, 2011. It mentions that the programme has been eliminated because the rinderpest virus (RPV) does not cause human disease. Meanwhile, it says that the virus has infected cattle and other domestic and wild artiodactyl species.
