- Abstract
The article looks at the public and private antidiscrimination enforcement mechanisms during recession in the U.S. for employment. Topics discussed include provisions of prohibiting employment discrimination as per the Title VII of the U.S. Civil Rights Act; enforcement mechanism for Title VII in the country; and the functioning of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) during the Great Recession of 2008.
