The article presents a literary criticism of the book "Journal de bord: Le soulier de satin," by Paul Claudel, Eloi Recoing and Antoine Vitez. It is commented that the book has mixed the commentary anecdotes which is enriched by correspondence and reflections of all the characters. It is stated that the book offers improvised narrative of a odyssey.
