The article discusses asbestos liability in America and the nation's tort law system as of 2014, focusing on the legal rights of individuals who have been exposed to asbestos fibers. Legal cases involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and other toxic substances are mentioned, along with settlements and the U.S. Constitution. A Kentucky Supreme Court case involving jural rights and common law is examined. Causation, foreseeability, and a duty of care are also mentioned.
