The article highlights decision of few Minnesota courts in cases related to tax laws, as of April 2019. Several cases discussed include Doyle v. Comm'r of Internal Revenue" related to weird deductions that are not permitted to offset amounts received as settlement for emotional distress; and "Vento v. Comm'r of Internal Revenue" that surfaced when tax court refuses to consider new issues in a Rule 155 proceeding.
