- Abstract
The article discusses the provision of incentives to young physicians to encourage work in undeserved regions. Topics explored include the percentage of young physicians assigned at rural areas according to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the loan forgiveness being offered by the Canadian government to family physicians in designated remote areas, and the medical training opportunities in rural areas that need to be offered by medical schools.
