- Abstract
The article focuses on Croup, which is a childhood disease that causes varying degrees of upper airway obstruction due to viral infections. It mentions that though systemic corticosteroids can help with croup therapy, nebulized epinephrine is a rapid option that can provide respiratory relief for up to two hours. It also mentions that worries regarding aerosol-generating medical procedures have prompted a quest for alternate delivery strategies to reduce SARS-CoV-2 transmission.
