A literary criticism for the book "Salvation: Black People and Love" by Bell Hooks, is presented. Topics include how cultural issue that is complicated by many political and historical factors introduced by white patriarchy and consider why political representation of Black love continues to be social justice; and multiple expressions of Black love and romantic relationships as they relate to race, whiteness, and patriarchy of Black culture.
